Getting started
Getting started with the new administration
The menu, quick search, help, working date, lists and panels: the habits that will make you faster.
The Plugin.ch administration has been completely redesigned. All the features are still there, but they are now in a single side menu, and every page follows the same principle: a list first, then a side panel to add or edit. This article presents the habits to adopt.
1The screen at a glance
The side menu on the left, the top bar, and the home page.
- On the left, the menu: the club's name, then the modules (Sport, Member, Subscription, Lesson, Reservation, Bills, Statistics, Message, Defi, Parameter).
- At the top, the toolbar: the working date, the search, the button Help, dark mode, the language, your name and logout.
- In the centre, the open page. After logging in, this is the home page, presented in the article The administration home page.
2Navigate with the side menu
Click a module to show its pages, then click the page you want. The open page is highlighted in the menu. Only the modules your role gives access to, and that are enabled for the club, are shown.
The Message module expanded.
- The button Collapse / expand the menu, at the bottom, reduces the menu to a column of icons to leave more room for tables. Simply hover over this column and the menu expands over the page. Your choice is remembered.
- If your account manages several clubs, the link Switch club appears under the club's name: it opens the page Choose a club.
3Find a page or a record with the search
Click the search field in the top bar, or use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + K on Mac (Ctrl + K on Windows). The / key also opens the search when you are not typing text.
Quick search: the matching pages, then the other suggested searches.
Type a few letters: the search suggests the matching menu pages, as well as your club's members, courts, subscriptions, courses and invoices, depending on your rights. It also offers to search for the text in the help. Choose a result with the arrow keys and then the Enter key, or click it. The Esc key closes the search.
4Change the working date
The date shown at the top left is the working date for the whole administration: the planning opens on that day, and pages organised by season (rates, fixed hours, members' subscriptions…) show the season that contains this date.
The calendar opened by clicking the date.
- The arrows ‹ and › go to the previous or next day.
- Clicking the date opens a calendar: change month with its arrows, or click the month name to choose another month or year.
- The link Today returns to today's date.
A new season does not appear in the rates or fixed hours? First go to a date within that season.
5Finding help
The button Help in the top bar shows the number of tutorials that explain the open page. Click it to see them.
The Help menu on the automatic e-mails page.
- Tutorials for this page: the help center articles about the page, in your language.
- Search the help: opens the full help center.
- Ask support a question: to get a personal answer.
6Working with lists
Most pages start with a list that always follows the same rules.
A list with its search, filter chips and bulk action bar.
- The field Search… filters the list as you type.
- The chips (for example Active, Off, All) filter by status; their number gives the number of rows concerned. Some pages also have filter drop-down lists, for example by sport.
- Click a column header to sort the list.
- At the end of each row, the pencil edits and the trash icon deletes. After a deletion, a button Cancel stays on screen for a few seconds.
- Tick several rows to display, at the bottom, the bulk actions bar: delete, enable, disable… depending on the page. Cancel unticks everything.
7Add and edit in a side panel
The add button, at the top right of the page (for example Add message), opens a side panel over the list. Editing a row opens in the same way.
A side panel opened over the list.
- The form is divided into sections. Yes / No choices are switches: blue = on.
- A red dot indicates a required field. If a field is filled in incorrectly, the error message appears just below it.
- Dates are shown in your country's format; click in the field to open the calendar.
- The button at the bottom saves. The button Cancel, the cross or the Esc key close the panel without saving.
8Dark mode, language and account
- The moon icon turns on Dark mode, easier on the eyes in the evening; the sun icon returns to Light mode. By default, the administration follows the light or dark setting of your device.
- The language button (FR, DE, EN, IT) changes the language of the administration.
- The exit icon, on the far right, logs you out.

9On phones and tablets
On a small screen, the menu is hidden: tap the icon ☰ at the top left to open it. The top bar keeps the date, the search and the help; your profile, the language and logout are at the bottom of the menu. Large tables scroll horizontally, with the first column remaining visible.
